Seattle International Film Festival
Last night I bought a ticket to see the opening screening of Marina Zenovich's film Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired. It was an intersting film about the directors life, but focused mainly on him fleeing the U.S. in 1978. Polanksi directed Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby, and more recently The Pianist.
The SIFF is located in the City Center with the Space Needle only a couple blocks away. Chicago didn't have the film community that Seattle seems to have. It is really nice to be able to see foreign and indie films without much effort.
